Indeed. But to a callow 9 year old, this meant we were no longer in Kansas.....

Shit! Did it take you so long to figure it out?

All those clocks and well, just McCallum and Lumley, told me that in the first few minutes.

I was chanting 'There's no place like home' pretty wildly to myself as i watched it again earlier this year, never mind as a 9 year old.

Wasn't as conversant with quantum mechanics then as I am now

As someone who is a woman and a 'lezza' and likes the original 70's punk music, I love 70's television and find very few programmes that offend me

Trouble is...my psychiatrist says I am not exactly sane and (as you point out) I am old enough to remember the television that was broadcast over 40 years ago!

Watching Justified from the start again. One of the most underrated shows of modern times.

You're a gal after my own heart Suze you know that.
70's spawn are not easily offended.
We were brought up on a diet of Bernard Manning, Jim Davidson, the sex pistols, derek and clive and Pans people. After that P.C Britain in the modern world is a stroll offence wise.

Oh and remember it's the "sane" ones you gotta watch out for.

Lethal Weapon

Yeah its what i expected from the trailers, originally before i saw the trailer i thought it would be awful, seeing the trailer i though ok maybe this could be half decent, and yeah its half decent, there are some niggles i had with it, and the new Riggs and Murtaugh just cannot match Gibson and Glover, in fact the Murtaugh character seems just a bit too different from the one we loved in the movies, Marlon is just too young IMO, but a decent start, hopefully they can can pull in an interesting story scope to the series.
