Extant

Sadly Season 2 (as the series was cancelled by CBS ) as this is a really good sci fi series.

Also been watching a lot of Hammer film documentaries in particular House of Horror:Memories of Bray Studios

I got the complete set of The Likely Lads cheap a while back. Watched a couple of eps of the 60s version, didn't think much to it to be honest. However I watched the first ep of the 70s sequel Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads? today and really enjoyed that one.

As for Jekyll and Hyde... made it to episode 4 before I gave up. Some interesting elements, but an awful lot of BS along with it.

ARROW S6 EP13 "The Devil's Greatest Trick"

In the aftermath of last weeks episode, Dinah tracks down Black Siren.
Meanwhile, Team Arrow try to stop Cayden James from detonating a bomb over the city by providing evidence that Green Arrow did not kill his son.

Lots going on in this episode and it never lets up. Terrific episode.

I watched the Arrow season 4 / Flash season 2 crossover the other night.

Talk about disappointing. I prefer the regular episodes in these seasons.

watched part 1 of season 5 of Vikings, waiting for the second part of the season too release on Amazon.

also watched the latest 3 episodes of star trek discovery, excellent stuff with lots of unexpected twists and reveals, episode 13 is one of the best episodes of all the series and easily makes it in my top ten.

I finished watching the fourth season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine which was great fun and very cleverly written. There are many lines which I try to remember and use in everyday conversation and end up forgetting!

I also finished Hammer House of Horror, a wonderful series with some great crimes against fashion, memorable and surprising story lines, and something I will watch more frequently than previously.

The most recent series of Inside No. 9 ended with a brilliant take on/adaptation of The Monkey's Paw including six really innovative and engaging stories, all written and directed with real flair and skill.

I began the first series of Columbo last night, though the boxset strangely starts with the third and fourth episodes, the first of which was directed by Steven Spielberg!

I’ve tried a few times to watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine and have yet to finish an episode, I really don’t get why people like it

Comedy is a very subjective thing which is why some people love something like Mrs Brown's Boys, which others despise. Some will repeatedly watch Father Ted which other people will find it as funny as listening to the Today programme.
