Seems like the trick for getting these things off the ground starts with "finding the others" as Tim Leary used to say. And with this wonderful, newfangled internet thingummyjig being so ubiquitous these days this has thankfully never been easier.

And yes, I couldn't agree more about how much the audience contributes to the vibe of a movie as you say; have especially found this to be the case with comedies but it certainly applies across the board. If I make it down to Torso I'll be sure to let you know how it all went

The internet is good for something indeed! I'd be interested to see how the audience react to Torso - it's all pretty groovy and fun... but then builds into real tension at the end.

Many thanks to all that organised and showed up to this event last night; thoroughly enjoyed the trailers, film and general ambience and hope there will be many more similar nights. Was nice to meet you and chew the fat a bit in person btw BioZombie

Wasn't all fun and games though I'm afraid. Sadly, one of the people attending collapsed shortly after the screening and had to be taken to hospital. If they or anyone who knows them frequents these boards then please tell them I wish them a speedy recovery and hope it's nothing too serious.

Btw, many thanks for the Fulci boxset I won in the raffle. Watched The New York Ripper last night and thoroughly enjoyed (wrong word for this type of film really, but you know what I mean) it. Once I've digested it a bit more thoroughly I'll pop a more detailed appraisal on the appropriate thread.

Tempted to watch The Black Cat and Ratman some time later tonight. Not seen either and they both certainly look entertaining. In fact, thinking about it this has the makings of an intriguing double bill: a cat, a rat and a double dose of David Warbeck

I snapped up this new double cover Torso from HMV for a fiver yesterday! The relevant yellow 'Suzy Kendall-in-the-saw' cover is indeed a feast for the eyes. Good stuff!

I can't believe Shameless never posted the new reverse on here (thank goodness Reaps did).
It's great,there should have been a whole promotional campaign around that cover!
Now if someone could confirm that Amazon actually ships the new cover?
