I like that cover, it's much better than the one that was eventually used.

I own two copies of Torso, the original and re-release (bought for the different artwork) and I still like the original cover that wasn't used.

Yeah the bin got it all along with some interesting notions I had which are probably best in there! No one liked the Shameless concept to begin with - sales companies, retailers and actually a lot of resistance from UK horror fans initially - the overriding feeling was what's the point - it'll suck.
shel likes this.

I'll be honest I remember browsing for more mainstream horror titles on Amazon about 18 months ago and being slightly put off by the rather garish looking Torso cover! How times have changed!

This image definitely is the better bet isn't it? Truly a glorious design.

Yeah, I'm glad I held off from buying this one as the re-release cover looks fantastic.

Now, all we need is a new cover for Killer Nun!

I bought it when it was first released and then double dipped due to the new artwork, so I have two copies of Torso and Oasis of Fear, plus the three titles in Fulci's Box of Terror which I also bought individually before it was released.

I already had two copies of Torso (AWE, X-Rated Kult Hardbox) before I bought the Shameless release, so thought quadruple dipping might have been a bit too much!
