When i ordered some new items a couple of weeks ago they were dispatched a day later than the used items. My guess is they have to get them from a supplier.

The titles were Arrow and BFI though, not 101.

I've had a third dispatch email but, again, not for one of the 101 titles.

Edit: I had another, which just leaves the two 101 BDs I ordered outstanding.

Musicmagpie take longer to dispatch the new items I've found, the pre-owned stuff tends to be the next day - when I ordered Spartacus the other week it was dispatched a whole week later than the rest of the order.

well for the price i cant complain to much, but is strange that used stuff is dispatched quicker than new, if anything i would expect it to be the other way

They probably have a deal with suppliers, whereas used stuff is at their warehouse or something on those lines.

Just speculating, i don't actually know.

The main thing that bugs me is that they send everything in separate packages. I had 8 jiffy bags the other day, my concierge was not impressed

I have received some things in separate envelopes, and others in a large envelope all together, so it must occasionally depend on who is packing that day.

Me too. If i order more than one thing i usually get them all together.

how long does stuff take to turn up after dispatch?

orders from Music Magpie usually turn up between 3-5 days once dispatched. If you do not get a dispatch email after a week be prepared for the order to be cancelled as i have had multiple cancellations in the past.
