Well said Nos.

These films have no real story as such but kind of wash over you.

As you mentioned above, I also really like the Mark Magidson/Ron Fricke/Godfrey Reggio films such as Chronos, Koyaanisqatsi, Powaqqatsi, Samsara and Baracka – I haven't seen Naqoyqatsi, but really want to.

Chronos is good Naqoyqatsi is ok from what I remember. But it's good to have a fellow fan on board Nos. :woot:

A few years ago, there was an AV event in NY attended by the greatest in the field and also the leading manufacturers (Sony, LG, Samsung, Panasonic), I recommended Samsara and they used it for Demo material ( I believe the shootout is still available on Youtube).

Let's put it like this. I have never been able to watch more than about 40 mins of 2001 before deciding i could take the dog a walk or clean the bathroom or watch paint dry.

Isn't that every film he watches? [emoji23][emoji39] (just kidding, Demdike). The Searchers is a bona fide classic.
