It's a masterpiece. Like many of David Lynch's films, particularly Eraserhead, Lost Highway, and Inland Empire, the first viewing will probably baffle you as it did with me.

I found watching it the first time to be an experience which was confusing and beguiling in equal measures, but it's a film that seems to become more coherent and engrossing with repeated viewings.

It's a brilliant film and one I highly recommend.

I upgraded my dvd with this version late last year. Haven't watched the Blu yet though.

I checked the HMV store and they had still in the 2 for £30 4K so got that and Cabin In The Woods so hopefully it won't take long till it arrives.

I'll also chip in and recommend Mulholland Dr. - it's my favourite Lynch. I didn't (and still don't) understand it all but it's a mesmerising experience.
