Doh, was just in there today and would have happily snapped that up. I didn't realise the discount had gone up from 25% to 30% either. I walked away with a fair few Shameless dvds scratching my head wondering how they worked out at less than £5 each. Sadly they didn't have The Strange Vice Of Mrs Wardh, which was the one I wanted. I shall make another trip for that I think. I just hope a) they have it at my store, and b) that it's the same price!

Slippery Jack 22nd February 2013 04:00 PM

Yeah I went in looking for Shameless titles. Wolverhampton had NONE :mmph: . . .

the blob 22nd February 2013 04:14 PM

I went into HMV today as well for the first time on ages. Saw the 30% off but absolutely nothing I was particularly interested in. They'd replace one wall of BD's with used DVD's too.

Zann 22nd February 2013 04:34 PM

Cheers snapped from zoverstocks underneath for £3.80

PaulD 22nd February 2013 04:38 PM

It's often in That's Entertainment as part of their '2 for £5' bluray offer although it seems to depend on the store. The Newcastle one is fantastic for blurays.

Zann 22nd February 2013 04:51 PM

Cancelled it already...call me fickle but it's 1080i :(

I was in the branch at Dalton Park and it was in the 2 for £5 there – they had loads of copies.

Yeah. They get them in as ex Blockbuster rental stock so it depends on what you find really. The Newcastle branch usually has some great stuff in.

The original link had some referrer code at the end that stopped it displaying, I just deleted the cutlabs bit at the end it displayed.

Sod it, went for it! I checked earlier this morning and they didn't have any in stock. My copy of When a Stranger Calls has atrocious PQ so worth the upgrade.

I've been checking daily. Moviemars had it for over a fiver but I prefer AYM anyway so I've been waiting. Sold my R1 DVD for more recently!

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 4th April 2013 07:47 PM

None in stock at the moment.

the blob 9th April 2013 02:33 PM

Thought I'd mention that Arrow are having a small sale. Not much greatly reduced but if anyone wants the Battle Royale Ltd Ed, they have it for £19.99

Arrow Video: Battle Royale [Limited Edition to 10000] Blu-ray

Actually, cheapest prices on the last two Bava's as well. £10.49 each or £14.99 for the slipbox edition.

Refused 9th April 2013 02:38 PM

When I got the email stating 50% off I thought it was going to be a decent sale.
