That's a very good discount, so I bought it with the Sonny Chiba Street Fighter trilogy.

It came today and, just based on the opening sequence I watched, the picture quality is outstanding, so I highly recommend it to all fans of the film with 4K Ultra HD players.

This probably won't interest many hee but Amazon seem to have cocked up the pre-order price of Saraband for Dead Lovers with the Blu at £10 and the dvd at £15.

It is outstanding (throughout). The only Argento 4K UHD that looks better is the Synapse Suspiria. And that's not to take anything away from Deep Red (looks amazing).

I’ve never bought from them direct but have purchased from them on eBay a number of times if a title was going OOP and not available at a cheaper price anywhere else. They are a reputable source.

British thriller I Start Counting is currently £9.99 on Amazon.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/I-Start-Cou...A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

Taken like that it's not seemingly a huge saving but it never normally drops much below fifteen quid.

I have it but haven't watched it yet.

I’d recommend it I thought it was really good and paid £17 for it so for a tenner go for it.

Thanks Dem, ordered

I can recommend this also. I saw it a couple of times when I was very young. It's a kitchen sink / serial killer drama told from the point of view of a coming of age teenager. I wouldn't call it a thriller because it's not that kind of movie. Very much of it's time, so if you like low budget British movies of the period I don't think you'd be disappointed. It fits into the Flipside series very well.

Amazon have the BFI release of The Appointment down at £9.99. This is quite a saving on the £16.99 it usually is priced at.

It's a wonderful and very bizarre British horror with an absolutely gob smacking finale.

The disc also features The Lake plus extras for both films. The Lake looks gorgeous on Blu-ray and is worth the price for this film alone.

100% recommended for those who want something a bit different.

It’s a great disc, stacked with extras. Don’t watch them until after you watch the film obviously though, spoilers everywhere!

Same old story with me i'm afraid. I have it on dvd but haven't watched it yet.

It was initially released on dvd and i bought it at Asda for three quid i think in a nice slip cover. It must have sold well because a couple of years later they brought it out on Blu.

The reason i haven't watched it is because from what i'm lead to believe there's a lot of sitting around in the woods and not an awful lot of head hunting.

I will watch it in time and expect to like it.

Yeah it could go either way. It doesn't sound like a rollicking action yarn.
Not that it needs to be.
