That’s a lot of disc for your quid so I guess that it’s not sold too well - I imagine most of its fanbase is no longer with us!

My parents used to watch it when I was a kid and i found it painfully unfunny, not patch on shows like dad's army , Steptoe and son, alllo allo etc.

Mind you could make a bit money as ce x are giving 22 cash and 30 part ex for it.

I never liked it either, mate.

Beware CEX - they’re slippery - if you take multiple copies on they give you less.

Saw some episode due to my parents watching it was so so but not one I bothered to watch , I think it got to point like owt else idea to begin with, with the original cast was a good idea but think it should have been laid to rest way before 2000 and tbh I wasn't even aware they was still making it at one point , but also think it was one of those shows where old folks career had come to a standstill and that's where they ended up.

I never watched Last of the Summer Wine but a lot of people did. I suppose it has the same cache of viewers as Open All Hours. The fact it ran for so long certainly suggests it had a decent size audience who lapped it up year on year.

I actually liked 'Last Of The Summer Wine'. It was a gentile, inoffensive comedy

A lot of the 'characters' from the show would come into the pub, sit in the corner and drink their half-pints of mild ("in a glass with a handle, Sue") while hatching this weeks harebrained scheme!
