September's been a great month for DVD bargains!

Poundland goodies:
Aenigma (Fulci for ?1, you can't complain at all)
Deep river savages
Last cannibal world
Ewe Bolls House of the dead
Hitch hike to hell (this kind of trash is right up my street!)

The last few years poundland has never let me down for dvd's in the run up to halloween, great to see everyone else has been filling their shopping bags.

Other bargains:
The Omen Pentology - ?7 in HMV (down from ?60 apparently)
Pieces - ?1 in Woolworths
Troll 1 & 2 - Asda ?4

Picked up Deep River Savages, Hellmaster, Cold Grip, Aquanoids, Switch Killer and the Stink of Flesh in poundland today.

Anyone know if there's more than one poundland in Leeds? Hal 22?

Also got Body Melt for ?5 in HMV. Anyone seen this? Looked like it might have some good old school effects from the back cover shots.

Was also tempted by Brian Yuzna's Rottweiler, does anyone know if this is worth ?6 whole pounds?

Only one I know of mate is the one in the St.Johns Centre. Thats where I go anyway. There might be one up crossgates way but not certain as It's nowhere near me. The one in St. Johns is pretty decent, I managed to pick up all 20 of the current releases in there over the course of a couple of days. It seems they alternate which ones they display.

Body Melt's a decent film Thresh. Really enjoyed it myself. Your right about the effects, very Bad Taste/ Braindead-esque.

Cheers Hal. Picked up 6 of the hardgore titles in the St Johns Poundland today. Might go back at the weekend see if they've replenished the stock.

Just watched Body Melt, enjoyed it - a couple of Neighbours characters popping up in it, notably a leaner Harold Bishop!

No worries mate. I actualy popped in there earlier today aswell on my way to work to look for something in the halloween section. I'll be going back next month for the next bunch of titles. Theres some good stuff coming out.

Too true. Luckily this was a free dvd rental from blockbuster,so i was lucky in the respect that i didnt buy it,cause i probably would have.
