Same here. I don't think Jack even bothered turning up in the first place though.

Sacrament
Hills have eyes 1 & 2(remake) blu
Stitches
Attack of the werewolves
Silent Night
Elfie Hopkins blu
Blood the last Vampire blu
The Bigfoot tapes

... and a load of other stuff I can't remember. Only Stitches for me at the moment but may go back for more at some point. I'm sure these titles will make their way into the suburban stores over the next week or so

My wife just came back home from Sheffield bringing with her:

Knight of the Dead
Way of the Wicked
Paranormal Initiation
A Voodoo Possession
Zombie Hunter
Stitches
The Bigfoot Tapes
Attack of the Werewolves
and
Raised by Wolves

None of which she has any intention of watching with me because she hates horror movies.

My local Poundland used to be really good in stocking horror films in October.
Yeah, there were the usual crap titles that are are in there year after year but remember the 50's Cayman Horror Classics from a few years ago? Then a range that included Driller Killer,Hich Hike to Hell and Aquanoids (ugh!).
Since the 'rewind' second hand idea came about, there has not been anything of worth in the shop anymore.

My most local store has a poster up advertising them but no actual titles, despite them having been in the city centre branch for a week or so.

My most fondly remembered year was the hardgore promotion during which I picked up Fulci's Aenigma and Cat in the Brain amongst others. The Full Moon promo was pretty good too

My local Poundland does have good stuff on Replay i.e. pre-owned, Taken, District 9 etc. but this seems to be at the expense of 'special stock' like Halloween offers, guess we just have to hope some quality horror titles pop up.
