Are these genuine HardeGore DVD's, as some films I bough had very faded HardeGore sign and blood style jacket top , while the rest of the jacket was vivid enough.

Went a bit mental in Poundland today on the ol' DVDs! Here's what I bought (arranged by label) and some info for anyone that may find it useful:

Platinum/Black Horse

Phenomena 16:9 Anamorphic
Bird With The Crystal Plumage Italian with English subs, 16:9 Anamorphic cropped from full 'Scope ratio
Deep Red/Profondo Rosso has both short English edit (16:9 Anamorphic letterboxed to 'Scope near enough) and long Italian edit (cropped to 16:9 roughly, flat not anamorphic) on disk.
Demons 2 16:9 Flat
Unhinged 4:3 - lovely picture quality. Always liked this little film, I was glad to find it.

Boulevard

Satan's Little Helper 16:9 Anamorphic
The Fear - as mentioned above, actually the film "Doomed" (4:3)
The Fear 2: Halloween Night 16:9 Flat

Film 2000

Stuart Gordon's Deathbed 4:3 (NB: Stuart Gordon only has the Exec Producer credit, it might just as well have been called "Charles Band's Deathbed")

Stax

Silent Night Bloody Night 4:3 - truly awful Public Domain print. Fuzzy and washed out, looks like it was mastered from video tape copy of a 16mm optical tranfer.
American Gothic (Hide And Shriek) 16:9 Anamorphic - despite a little grain and crawl, a brilliant quality print. Well worth £1 if this is a guilty pleasure of yours as it is of mine!
Night Of The Living Dead 4:3, has both b/w and colourised versions on disk. B/W is a decent enough Public Domain version - slightly muffled audio, slightly fuzzy video, but not bad at all. Couldn't bring myself to check the colourised version!
Flesh Eater (Zombie Nosh) 16:9 Anamorphic - seems to have a lot of extras

I very nearly bought "Blood Gnome" for Julie Strain alone, but my girlfriend was already looking at me like I had lost my mind, so maybe next time!

It was the 1988 version with Traci Lords - it's part of the "Roger Corman Collection" on the Stax DVD label. The TERROR WITHIN double bill is part of the same collection...

I was thinking that THE TERROR WITHIN was a great haul but the NOT OF THIS EARTH deal is unbelievable.

Another one i saw was Canibal Detour or Canibal Highway, ai'nt sure.

Im going in tomorrow (Thur) to pick the Franco one up,(some vampire flick) and have a good 'hoak' in the SciFi box .
I'll probably pick up Driller again (be my 4th version but at a quid & U/C, what the heck) and anything else half decent before hitting HMV in search of a good BluRay Horror for halloween nite, along with a few Wrestling DVD's (my guilty pleasure alongside 'chick flick's')

Is any the Schaas film Demonium (Forgive Spelling) good. ? (the one set in a castle)

My swag:

Demons
Phenomena
Jigsaw (should probably have checked this thread first, mind...)
Unhinged (one for my nasty collection )

Speaking of nasties, I'm hoping to pick up Don't Look in the Basement tomorrow.

Nipped in today and got "Not Of This Earth" and "The Dead One" (ie "Blood Of The Zombie" - great incompetent Public Domain fun!).

Couldn't see "Blood Gnome" this time though. No Julie Strain for me!
