No new films but picked up 'Michael Palin Diaries 1969-1979' for a quid, with a damaged dust jacket. £20 from bookshops

The Burnley one has also got proper films in. Swordfish, The Devil Wears Prada and others. The stickers on them suggest they are former rental discs.

No horrors though.

I've noticed a couple of horror films I've never heard of in my local shop. They looked bloody awful, can't remember the titles. I'll check again and post the titles for any feedback.

BLACK CHRIMBO is very good, but I can't be arsed buying another DVD of it when there is a blu-ray out in the US.

Not seen 30 DAYS. I was going to buy it but the sweet section was calling out to me.

Yeah, I nearly picked up Miami Vice 2 disc edition, but was put of by the fact that - although sealed - all the copies they had had scruffy cases/sleeves. I have been stung before with sealed DVDs that turn out to be scratched to buggery.

I did, however, pick up 30 Days Of Night: Blood Trails. They also have tons of Friends DVDs - in snapper cases, no less! They must have been sitting around in a warehouse for years. I can't remember the last time I saw a brand new snapper case in the shops.
