Mmmmm... steam trains you say? Not much of use in Poundland I have to say, nothing I don't already have in one way or another anyway. They have the Argento dvd's mentioned in this thread, plus 'Don't Look in the Basement' and 'Unhinged'. The Argento flicks are the Platinum releases ( 'Bird', 'Cat', 'Profondo Rosso' and 'Phenomena'), which is fair enough if you don't already have them on dvd. I owned the original Platinum releases before they were repackaged and as far as I remember their 'Profondo Rosso' isn't the proper aspect ratio, though I think someone on here said this release contains the 'Integral Version' as well? How does it look against the Blue Underground release? Picture quality etc? If I remember correctly it contains the original end credit sequence, as opposed to the still image used by the Blue Underground release. And the soundtrack is all English as opposed to the fairly distracting Blue Underground release, which constantly jumps from English to Italian, even during instances where an English soundtrack exists.

Terrible! In and of itself it's a perfectly watchable version but compared to the BU it's faded, colours are washed out and it's lacking in sharpness. Audio is a little muddier too. The US cut on the same disk is much better visually.

Any idea what cut of "Puppet Master" that is? There was definitely an Unrated version in the States, but I have no idea what extra was in it. Not a bad film as I recall.

As far as i know it's the uncut version. The extras are the Videozone footage, filmographies and the trailer.
