Nottingham city centre has got three Poundlands (and a further two Poundworlds, which don't seem to sell DVD's)

None of them have got any kind of Halloween film stand out yet!

For anyone interested, Poundland are currently selling 12.5 inch by 12.5 inch photo frames - or to put it another way, photo frames that are big enough for an LP record

Photo Frame Record

I currently have my signed Iron Maiden 'Powerslave' and King Diamond 'Conspiracy' albums in them, and will be going back to get two more - one each for my original cover Guns N' Roses 'Appetite For Destruction' LP and my original cover Uncle Sam 'Heaven Or Hollywood' (if Chloe lets me put it up!)

The frames are fine for single albums, but you might struggle to get a double album or something with a gatefold release in it

I've lost faith in Poundland - they all seem to have moved over to 'self-service' tills ("unexpected item in bagging area") and I refuse to use them. I am much happier giving my money to someone that is actually being employed behind the counter rather than having a grunt snootily walking around, looking over my shoulder when I an buying something

I'm sure he's really trying to look down my top!

Hah! I'm glad I'm not the only person in the world who prefers keeping human beings employed!

The self service tills are usually more friendly/responsive in my Poundland...
