I have such a lot of love for this episode. Similar to Walking Distance - a man tired of the rat race looking for an escape - but with a tragic twist.

Truly brilliant, TZ at it's best. If I had a gripe, I would've liked Gart to die in his sleep on the train and be found by the guard. Felt a bit for him that he had to die such a traumatic death.

One of my faves too along with walking distance.

Yes and an unexpected twist in my case....especially when that van door shuts at the end......

I've spoken to people about the twilight zone and this episode seems to pop up a lot, it's certainly one that got into the minds of the viewers and stayed there over the years. I even remember watching it as a kid myself. great ending... sad but also beautiful.
