I have such a lot of love for this episode. Similar to Walking Distance - a man tired of the rat race looking for an escape - but with a tragic twist. |
Truly brilliant, TZ at it's best. If I had a gripe, I would've liked Gart to die in his sleep on the train and be found by the guard. Felt a bit for him that he had to die such a traumatic death. |
One of my faves too along with walking distance. |

Magnificent episode. |
a well loved episode I've spoken to people about the twilight zone and this episode seems to pop up a lot, it's certainly one that got into the minds of the viewers and stayed there over the years. I even remember watching it as a kid myself. great ending... sad but also beautiful. |
