The classic device of going back in time and possibly having the chance to alter some worlde defining event. I remember an episode of the 2000's series that's a kind of mirror image of this one. In that a woman went back in time to try to kill Hitler when he was a baby.

An enjoyable ep, despite Russel Johnson terribly over acting at times.

This was a bit of a let down for me, i was expecting more from a time travel episode although the twist was interesting. A bit like "A sound of thunder".

However, that chaps awful acting really pulled the episode down.
