It was ok I suppose. Obviously not a patch on the original. It was just so obvious from the 1st 10 minutes that she was a dummy, whereas the original wasn't. One little touch I liked was the dummy with his hands in his pockets, so he doesn't have formed hands.

Yes, this wasn't as good as the original. However it was an interesting take on it to make it a horror plot. In the original the woman eventually comes around to the idea that she is a mannequin. In this one it's forced on her against her will. Personally I think the original was a much more interesting and ambiguous story than this one. F:S |

Merely 'ok' in my book. Some interesting diversions from the original; I kind of like it when a remake does that. In isolation it's an average ep of the 80's show. In comparison to the original, not a patch. |
