A really nice article on The Guardian website, full of Twilight Zone praise. A great read, check it out! |
Our friend The Collector's Room has already posted this in another thread, but I thought I'd put it here too with the other reviews. Cracking review, worth posting twice! DVD Releases: 'The Twilight Zone' Season One Blu-ray (1959-1960) | Cine-Vue | Award Winning UK Film / Movie Blog |

It might be worth buying the first season and, if you like that, consider getting the other four! |
They are worth getting!!!! |
FYI the first 4 seasons are on offer for one day only on play.com £17.99 each season! Play.com - Buy The Twilight Zone: Season 1 Box Set (5 Discs) (Blu-ray) online at Play.com and read reviews. Free delivery to UK and Europe! http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/1...rlrefer=search http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/2...rlrefer=search http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/2...rlrefer=search |
That's incredible value and, for £18 each, they are well worth buying due to the quality, extra features and (if it's a word) rewatchability. |

Not yet im toying with watching them over the weekend having a Twlight Zone weekend |
Seasons 1 - 3 are absolute masterpieces (99.9% of them anyway). Season 4 and 5 are pretty great too and highly recommended, however they just fall a little short of what went before in my opinion. Enjoy and let us know what you think :) |

I only have about 3 more episodes left of season 1. I am still waiting for season 2 to arrive. |
Upto now ive seen the 4 episodes of Season 1 on disc 1 and they only duff ep ive found is THE SIXTEEN MILLIMETER SHRINE, you might like it but i found it lacking something. I suppose every TV series has to have a duff episode. |
For me the worst one of season one has to be 'the Fever' I think. It's a bit too obvious. |
I'm currently on Season 3. After a bit of a drop in standard of S2, S3 is a big improvement. Season 2 has too many comedic episodes for me. |
I've just finished season four, which is really different because the episodes are an hour long, hence why there are only 18 of them. This makes the good episodes great and the average episodes really drag. |
Overall though I don't think season 4 is as bad as it's made out by some. Though 1-3 are undoubtedly better. |
Not sure where to post this but is there a complete review of the medium rare bd release of twilight zone yet? Wondering if it contains the radio plays etc? |
