Our friend The Collector's Room has already posted this in another thread, but I thought I'd put it here too with the other reviews. Cracking review, worth posting twice!

I aim to review the Blu-rays once I gather enough money to buy them. Until then, here's a great detailed review of Season one:

When I saw the first episode in HD, I couldn't believe how good the remastered picture looked and how clear the HD sound was. Outstanding stuff.

Bringer Of Funerals 26th April 2012 05:13 PM

Definitely. The Twilight Zone is one of the best TV shows ever made so, if you like sci-fi, horror, drama and mystery, there is a little of each and every episode.

It might be worth buying the first season and, if you like that, consider getting the other four!

tollickd 26th April 2012 08:26 PM

They are worth getting!!!!

tollickd 27th April 2012 07:56 AM

FYI the first 4 seasons are on offer for one day only on play.com

£17.99 each season!

That's incredible value and, for £18 each, they are well worth buying due to the quality, extra features and (if it's a word) rewatchability.

It sure is. And since I don't have season 4 yet, I'm mighty tempted.

Bringer Of Funerals 4th May 2012 11:12 AM

Not yet im toying with watching them over the weekend having a Twlight Zone weekend

it'smebilly 4th May 2012 09:23 PM

Seasons 1 - 3 are absolute masterpieces (99.9% of them anyway). Season 4 and 5 are pretty great too and highly recommended, however they just fall a little short of what went before in my opinion. Enjoy and let us know what you think :)

Just put it on now

tollickd 5th May 2012 05:18 PM

I only have about 3 more episodes left of season 1. I am still waiting for season 2 to arrive.

Bringer Of Funerals 5th May 2012 05:45 PM

Upto now ive seen the 4 episodes of Season 1 on disc 1 and they only duff ep ive found is THE SIXTEEN MILLIMETER SHRINE, you might like it but i found it lacking something. I suppose every TV series has to have a duff episode.

it'smebilly 5th May 2012 08:54 PM

For me the worst one of season one has to be 'the Fever' I think. It's a bit too obvious.

the human man 10th May 2012 10:20 PM

I'm currently on Season 3. After a bit of a drop in standard of S2, S3 is a big improvement. Season 2 has too many comedic episodes for me.

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 11th May 2012 07:26 AM

I've just finished season four, which is really different because the episodes are an hour long, hence why there are only 18 of them. This makes the good episodes great and the average episodes really drag.

it'smebilly 11th May 2012 07:41 PM

Overall though I don't think season 4 is as bad as it's made out by some. Though 1-3 are undoubtedly better.

Even the artworks the same on the seasons, only difference is the freemantle logo is gone from the bottom right. So if you have the individual sets don't sell them for this.they maybe should of added the 80s version as well.
