Default The Twilight Zone LTD ED box set.

Has anyone seen this? i was listening to the latest episode of the TZ podcast and at the end the host talks about a competition to win a limited edition (limited to 7,500 units worldwide) box set with both the old and new(ish) series of the Twilight Zone.

I have included a photo for you to enjoy. will anyone be picking this up? it's not a brand new release so you may even have one? after a good look i think i will continue to go for the single Blu-Ray sets as im not a fan of the little card disc holder things. Still as a TZ fan i do love the look of the outer box.

Looks stunning, I've just watched the first disc of season 1. Some outstanding episodes thus far. After I finish Season 2 I might buy more.

Any idea how many seasons there are Vipp?

Yes mate - they made 5 seasons in the original run, personally i find 1 and 2 the best 3 is okay and mostly 4 and 5 are lacking but have some good episodes now and again.

I am working my way through the Blu's of the Twilight Zone seasons, watch one every few nights, been on season two for what seems like an age. Brilliant quality, amazing extras, some of the ideas from Sterling were just mind bending for the time, you can see so many films since who have leeched from the Twilight Zone. Never again will we see its like again. So many famous faces. Even the stories that are not that strong are still a joy to watch. Wether you watch the DVD boxset or the Blu's, everybody needs to have these. The bonus with the Blu's is you can spread the expense like I did, I am not past season two and have all 5 purchased now. But the boxset looks lovely. Either way, you need all 5 seasons in your collection, like every teenager needs a porn mag under his matress!

The revival of this thread has reminded me that I still need to pick up season 4 of the original series (already owning 1,2,3 & 5)... maybe after Xmas.

Thay are limited to around 7,000 units worldwide and not worth the3 asking price for what you get in my opinion but it looks nice!

Tom just recently took control back of his popular Twilight Zone podcast! i don't know why he isn't here much but looking at the TZ forum threads here it doesn't look to have had much attention?

I follow him on twitter (@GrindhouseTom) and subscribe to his show as it's absolutely brilliant. He is a genuinly nice person.

I have season 1 and 3 on Blu-Ray and will pick up the rest and want to get the rest like Dem sometime after crimbo.
