Default Replacement cases due to damage

Ive just order a set of vols 1-9 from amazon and HMV

and the spines of 6 of the cases are broken.

these were handed to me by the postie not dropped through the letter box and the boxes they came in look undamaged.

Has anyone else had these issues and can you get replacement cases anywhere

If six are damaged it looks more a case of the way they have been made rather than royal mail issues for a change.

Sorry to hear that Sam - unfortunately, it's a budget release and so corners have been cut, leading to very poor packaging.

Amazon should replace them for you (even though it's not their fault), although it does mean the hassle of having to return the 6 damaged ones, with no guarantee that the replacements will be ok.

I managed to superglue mine, although had I'd purchased them rather than won them, I would have been less happy.

Time in solitary for whoever authorised such poor packaging is what is needed
