This was one of those movies where I was glad to be a Shameless fan (That applies to all of them really). Almost every step of the way I've collected pretty much blindly, never knowing what they'll throw our way next and found myself purchasing films I'd never dreamt of buying before. I found this to be a quite a moving viewing experience

just read what the cuts were on the bbfc site, surely if some is enjoying being raped then its not rape.....right? Bloody good film too.. |

This is my favourite Shameless Release so far (although this distinction is marginal, since I really like NYR, NTM, Torso, Killer Nun, CH...) Some of the things I particularly like about it: It is very faithful to the source material In spite of some fairly intense scenes it is very tastefully shot and composed Laura Antonelli is extremely beautiful. I also really like the Jess Franco film, even though it bears almost no relation to the book. It's a film that has had a lot of influence (it's clear that David Lynch drew inspiration from it, for example) and is almost certainly Franco's best film.

| Looking to buy the original 2008 Shameless DVD release of Venus In Furs
Hello guys I'm just wondering and hoping that one of you will please be able to help me locate the abovementioned DVD (I attach the cover).... I'm desperate to find it and I've been looking like Mad for it online but can only find the newer release with a different cover which I don't like as much... Thus if any of you guys knows where I can buy it or has one which they would be happy to sell to me please let me know Thank you |
