West has made this kind of a definite buy for me. I loved EVIL ALIENS (even more than I did Braindead...) and DOGHOUSE was big fun as well. I'm not that into trailers but the Doc could be enough to get me to buy this set sometime...

But there's more - each of these introductions is chock-full of interesting facts and trivia plus rare archival trade ads and video art etc. We've really done one hell of a lot of work putting this lot together.

And then there's the documentary, where we have brand new information from the DPP's archives that none of you will have ever been aware of

I reckon the total running time will be somewhere between 3 and 4 hours, possibly even more.
Yep,I kinda checked that it wasnt just a pile of trailers before clicking the submit button, good idea eh Daemonia?

So each trailer has an introduction. In essence, it's still a DVD of trailers. I'm not even saying that's a bad thing and the documentary certainly looks interesting. I was just being a bit tongue-in-cheek because the poster said he'd been waiting over 25 years for this, so I commented on his commendable level of patience. Guess my humour didn't really register with you, so I apologise for that.

You guess wrong, your humour did register,I was pretty certain you were being (as you said) "a bit tongue-in-cheek",I was just covering all bases and being humourous as well, hopefully confirmed by the use of the cheeky smilie.
On a side note,I`m not a very patient person...and I only realised I`d been waiting 25 yrs for this the moment I knew of its existence.

Yes, patience isn't my greatest virtue either.

Will any of the trailers suffer BBFC cuts? Pretty sure some of the cannibal ones feature clips of the animal violence, which will mean the BBFC will have to trim them. Been a loooong time since I've seen any of those pre-cert trailers, though - so maybe they won't warrant any BBFC interference.

As a new fan of the nasties (I've only seen about 5 so far!), I am really looking forward to this release!! Can't wait to add it to the slowly growing collection!

Good point I hadn't really thought of! I know for a fact the Last Cannibal World trailer was cut by the BBFC when last submitted : "Cut required to real animal cruelty (live crocodile cut up)..."
Would be great if all the trailers were uncut, however I have a feeling this may not be possible...

Has the set been rated yet Marc? I tried searching for it on bbfc.co.uk, but could not find any info. If not, make sure you let all of us on here know the bbfc's outcome! Well done with this collection mate and I look forward to the release!!
