Patrick Still Lives is incredibly sleazy. The poker murder is a total WTF moment:

I almost enjoyed Patrick Still Lives over the original Patrick. The Italiens sure now how to spice up a story with some sleazy elements.

I also agree about the poker scene.

What do people think about the chances of it getting through uncut if it was submitted to the BBFC?

I've never seen the original Patrick. I have the AWE dvd but have never watched it.

Patrick Still Lives is great fun, though; loads of nudity, shocking murders and a great score. Oh, and the Blond secretary is gorgeous!

Patrick Still Lives would definitely be cut by the bbfc.

Its quite a bit slower and has a lot less nudity and gore. But it has a great atmosphere and it's quite creepy.

* Star of David: Beautiful Girl Hunter (also has great set design and costumes)
* Story of Ricky
* Hardcore (1979)
* Killer Snakes
* Bad Lieutenant (Maybe not sleazy, but certainly grimy)
*Wet and rope (I remember it being good but haven't seen it for years)
*The Devil in Miss Jones (original, holds up fairly well today and for me it proves that porn can have artistic merit)

I guarantee that you wont be dissapointed with it Vips. Its one of those films that you actually rub your eyes with disbelief going, "Am I really seeing this?". Plus any film with a song by the mighty(!) kings of euro metal Krokus has to be worth a watch.
