Wouldn't that be the convicted paedophile who directed JEEPERS CREEPERS?

The Living Dead Girl is my favourite Rollin film. It moves at a better pace than many of his other films and has a nice atmosphere to it - not to mention some jarring moments of gory violence. I liked it, anyway - just watch out for that appalling band that strikes up in the middle of the film playing some of the weirdest music I've ever heard!

Just like the cineaste crowd do with Roman Polanski - at least Salva's not been rewarded with an Oscar for his misdeeds...

Oh yes - my vote for sleaziest director would have to go Aristide Massaccesi (aka Mr D'Amato) - not only for sleaze epics like Emanuelle in America, but also for his copious output of porn throughout the 90's, often retelling classic tales from a porno perspective...erm...yeah. Rocco Siffredi as Tarzan in D'Amato's Tarzan X is a sight to behold! Tarzan never looked like this before...

Peter,do you have a list of this blokes films and the best place to buy them uncut. Cheers!
Right now I guess the best place to get these flicks from would be from Austria.....but as I'm seriously toying with the idea of getting into the "underground"/independent genre-movie-distributon (with a particular eye on German goodies) myself (with all this censorship-free territory in Scandinavia) I'd just hang on a little while longer....
By next summer I should know whether my plans stand a chance....or not

BTW: A good Austrian shop for German horrors would be D & T:

Zebedy Colt! Or anyone involved in 42nd Street smut from the 70's! ha.

Or maybe Oswaldo de Oliveira... or Shady Baby - those Brazilians make some sick, sick, sick... SICK movies, especially the latter.
