Bigger than the standard retail plastic ones, or bigger than the slipcases you get blank tapes in?

Maybe it is! I've never heard of it before, but if it is, it looks like one hell of a porn! A huge machine gun and massive explosions! Oh yeah! It's bigger than both those, Robert. The pics I've put up (the 1st 4) are obviously not 'life-size' but if you put a normal VHS on top of the Rolling Vengeance big box, you'd see "Always use the right..." at the top. They're also wider, roughly by the width of the left side of the BBFC certificate to the edge of the VHS (right side). If that makes any sense whatsoever.

I know! If only I had some sort of time machine. Note to self: Make time machine in spare time. Do you still have many of your videos mate? Still buy them or are they now a nostalgic memory?

I dont even have a VHS player now K! When the DVD boom began, I sold off my collection to a collector. Was sad to see it go, but I have very very fond memories of car boot sale hunting and video library hunting for those notoriuous titles. I still think back to the days of owning the likes of Deep Red, Suspiria, ZFE all on nice VHS. The labels, the packaging all mean more than any DVD release will ever mean!!!! That is my teenage life in a nutshell. Never to be beaten K in my opinion. One of the best feelings was that you have rented out a film like House By The Cemetary in the early 80s, only to discover a few years later that it was cut! Then hunting down an uncut import bootleg of the movie just to see what you had missed! Ah bliss!

A totally different time. It's been said countless times on this forum but it's true - now you can more or less get any film uncut at the click of a button. Whether that's a good or a bad thing is another question all together. Well, obviously it's good, but the hunt and the chase, like you've said, are not as important. Don't get me wrong, I LUV DVDS - a little too much! Videos have a completly different quality and feel about them. Yep, I was born in the wrong decade. Damnit!

I remember those covers Kyle. The best video shop in our town had a big pan and scan telly built into a wall, and all it did all day was show trailer loops. The Thorn-Emi one were always the coolest.
