HMV is really the only place in Aberdeen to buy new DVD's now which is sad, only wish someone would open an import DVD/Blu store up here but doubt that will ever happen! Back on topic I used to own a few of the Terror Vision titles, The Hitcher, IT are the one's that come to mind but sure I owned a lot more of these.

They were released last Dem along with CAT O NINE TAILS. Feel free to discuss where you bought these films guys! It's not off topic. After all,it was part of the buzz GOING to pick these up. I was discussing my OBSSESSION with collecting these with the missus this morning, and she remembers well! But I was also saying that part of the buzz was actually going from shop to shop tracking down the missing titles. It's all too easy now at the click of a button, don't you think? Opinions?

Very true, reaps, very true! Currently there's only ONE noteworthy cult-movie shop left in Helsinki where I could physically go to have that sensation/excitement of a "spontanous surprise find"... I like shopping in the net- particularly for releases from the German language territory as the Finnish shops only seem to import from the US or UK these days- but by doing that I'm aware of doing my part in diminishing the amount of actual cult film shops. |

I was given a whole batch of them by a friend who ran a second hand video shop. As one or two were time coded copies he couldn't sell them to "normal " customers.

A nice little collection to mirror the same label's TV selection and if i'm not mistaken didn't the latter's Poltergeist edition also boast a bts featurette noticably absent from the same film's current DVD and BR variants? Memorable VHS times for yours truly when things were more palatable and less downbeat for me. |

Apparently, the Terror Vision VHS of Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell was fully uncut. The only way you can see an almost fully uncut version of this Hammer classic on DVD now is by paying through the nose for the oop German disc.

Now, I didn't know that. Can you (or anybody else) confirm this? I thought that the only uncut release was the Jap LD?
