I loved these. Had some of the Beyond Vision ones as well. I think Babylon 5 was released as part of that label.

It was Stephen.

Do you remember Virgin megastore in Argyle St had it's own section for these?

And Tower Records had the more obscure titles.

Jeez,I miss Tower Records!

Not to go too wildly off topic, but yeah, I miss Tower Records in Glasgow as well. They used to sell imported US laserdiscs in there. That's where I first managed to get a copy of A Clockwork Orange and Natural Born Killers. You'd never see HMV with a little section of imported blu's. I want Tower back!

Yup and if I'm not mistaken I managed to pick it up cheap (I wouldn't of normally bothered as I already had the pre-cert) as they (the copies of the film) were not shifting. This would of been sometime in the mid-late '90s when I was living in Aberdeen which had the wonderful two floor Virgin store(rip).

A mate of mine gave me The Hunger and The Haunting a few years back, but I sent them to the charity shop when I bought the DVDs. Doh . It's funny how you don't appreciate things until their gone .

Yeah, I remember "Terror Vision" vividly, used to collect them in my late teens/early twens when I was still living in Germany.
Back then without the net I had to grab my UK vhs in the few shops which sold imported tapes; in the pre-DVD days there was a tiny yet slowly growing market for those as otherwise you could only buy "dubbed into German" vhs in regular stores.
A couple of those I grabbed in my last school year when our English class made a trip to London for a few days....

As for the "Terror Vision" range: The quality of the releases varied quite drastically- ranging from the neat widescreen presentation of "Wolfen" and "The Hunger" to the fullscreen nightmare of Argento's "Cat O' Nine Tails"
I also thought that the tapes themselves weren't of the best qulality- with some of them showing the first signs of vhs-aging already after only a couple of years.

Those were the ones I still have (and partly had):

The Hunger
Wolfen
Legend of the Seven Vampires
Cat O'Nine Tails
Razorback

Beyond Vision:

Mad Max
Rollerball

Incidentally,titles that were scheduled to be released on Terror Vision,but for some reason,never materialized were;

THE DEVILS
IT'S ALIVE
IT LIVES AGAIN

Russell's The Devils was to appear on the HORROR CLASSICS tag, whilst the other two were to be on THE CRYPT COLLECTION.

THE DEVILS appeared on Warner's later 'MAVERICK DIRECTOR'S' collection, but that's another thread.....

Forgot about The Exorcist II. Love the fact that they put on the cover that it includes the trailer! The beginning of special features!

It's true though Stephen!
Between trailers and 'collector's cards' it was!

Now.
How 'bout some of these?

Check out the MAD MAX BV!
That was one of my prized posessions!
