Well I guess we can't now! so far we've discovered that there's no usable master - just bits of crud that somehow need to assemble. |

Oh no it'll happen but it's going to be a toughie - horrible materials.

Alright then... So the materials on this film are utterly hideous. We reckon with a pile of work we should be able to produce the best available version yet (compared to the other DVDs out there) BUT it's still not going to be much to write home about - very watchable but for instance closer to Ratman quality than What Have They Done To Your Daughters. The question is do we press ahead and do this title?

Depends what the alternatives are, do you have any films lined up that could replace this one? i.e. ones that haven't had a North American release before? With a film like this it's doubtful that many people who already have the previous DVD would double dip, regardless of any improved quality.

I agree with Jonny - an alternative title of similar quality would be preferable, particularly if it hasn't been released elsewhere. Formula For A Murder, maybe?... |

Easier said than done and the materials situation with Formula is a nightmare - not fixable in the time we have. WMWIK is one of those titles we think worth doing for the general punter out there - that's another consideration we're factoring in. I'm being very pessimistic - might turn out fine but we are a bit sceptical at the moment so just wanting thoughts, opinions - thanks for these so far!

I too would agree with Jonny. The work you would have to put in just to get a slightly better version than whats already available wouldn't IMO be worth the sales it would get. I wouldn't see it being something the general punter would have a high interest in, even if it was, it would be stuck in the horror section which a lot of people dont bother looking at.
