Any one else see the Spahetti Western Orchastra at the Proms on BBC 3 last night? It was pretty awesome.

It's on Iplayer at the moment if you want to catch it.

There is a huge selection of German Spaghetti Western DVDs, almost every Koch Media release has English subtitles, if not English audio, a complete list here: Koch Media DVD catalog - The Spaghetti Western Database

I have detailed reviews of dozens of them on my Spaghetti Western pages as well - Spaghetti Western review page

Those guys were awesome! My other half had it paused on tv as I'd worked late, it was an absolute hoot!

Thanks for the heads up. These are both Optimum owned titles in the UK so British releases might well be following.

Reviewed the Optimum SD releases of both of these a while back, both enjoyable if rather unassuming films:

Man of the East and Hills Run Red.

Despite already owning AWE's Danish DVD count me in for an HD copy of MOTE. I've always enjoyed this amusing Spagwest ever since seeing Warner's old U.K. pre-cert video release back in the '80s.

Anyone looking forward to Django Unchained?

Personally not sure what to think because I love Tarantino, I love Samuel L. Jackson and I heard Kurt Russell is going to be appearing in it who I also am a fan of.

On the other hand though...Both Jamie Foxx and Leo Dicaprio REALLY piss me the *^#*($*( off!

What's wrong with DiCaprio? He's probably the greatest actor of this generation!

Do you seriously think he would work in a Spaghetti Western style film directed by Tarantino? I just don't see how!
