The picture on the shameless is far superior!

I'll hopefully finish the movie tonight when the girlf gets home, it may just have been me being tired and sensitive to it last night. I remember it seemed louder in some places than others.
Cheers thats good to know.

I never did report back. Anyway, enjoyed the rest of the movie, but it wasn't me being tired - that hum is ****ing annoying. Although as I said, usually drowned out with music. Very noticeable in certain dialogue scenes.

Still the best version though.

I was! Catchy old theme, ain't it.

And because I couldn't find any mention of the hum on reviews, I started to think I was imagining it. My speakers picked it up, certainly!

Found this though on cineoutsider: "The Dolby 2.0 mono soundtrack betrays a slight hum but nothing distracting. On the whole it's clean and clear, though with the expected limitations on dynamic range. "

I wouldn't call it "slight", but hey, maybe I'm just sensitive to it. It's cleaner, crisper and louder than the Redemption that's for damn sure!

Or it could be the EQ settings of your setup, and different speakers will exaggerate different frequencies.
