I know, I know. I wouldn't have mentioned it if it had been any other word but with it being the only mention on the sleeve of the term of phrase for that genre of Italian Crime films I thought it was worth pointing out. Afterall if a casual fan bought this film, enjoyed it and thought they'd like to discover more from this genre they would trot off to Google type in 'Piloziotteschi' and the only result would be an Amazon.co.uk link back to this DVD! (I've tried it and it is!)

Perhaps this is the right time then to say that the director's first name and last name are spelled incorrectly in the overview for THE FRIGHTENED WOMAN.

| SHAM013 - What Have They Done To Your Daughters?
Got a chance to watch WHTDTYD the other day and I was very impressed. A very classy film - particularly keeping in mind it has been released immediately after Ratman! Loved everything about it, the plot, the cinematography and the score - all amazing. The carpark scene is particularly tense and works really well. Shameless have done an excellent job. Only 6 more days and the rest of you can go get it!

Just pre-ordered this from HMV and got an email a couple of hours later saying it was on its way. At the same time I spotted a Shameless Glass Dolls release also due out on the 25th and pre-ordered that too. Amazon also have Glass Dolls on pre-order, but according to what I read here after doing a quick search, its not planned for a release any time soon. Its listed with a SHAM14 tag (What Have They Done... was listed as SHAM13). Wonder what I'll get, wonder if I'll ever get anything? What is SHAM14 anyway and is it due on the 25/5/08? Perhaps I'll get that. Cheers, Abaddon. |
