Yes despite the fact these films are ridiculed they certainly made a fair few! Womens Camp 119 and Deported Women are supposed to be the most graphic and 'depraved'. They also never got released by Shriek Show or AWE so maybe the masters held are in terrible condition or the rights holders want silly money. I seem to remember reading years ago that the rights holder wanted (correct me if I'm wrong) £35,000 for Deported Women.

I think Image who were putting out a lot of Something Weird titles had plans to put out Love Camp 7 in the US but cancelled the release for no apparent reason. Love Camp 7, an American film was made at the very end of the 60's, and is probably best considered a roughie rather than a Nazi exploiter but damn it's a sleazy movie and I reckon Image became increasingly lukewarm on it...

I picked up Blitzkrieg: Escape From Stalag 69 a few years ago. Its a modern Nazi exploiter but still very rough, full of castrations and the like. |
