Don't forget I Spit on your Grave.

Kameron, alot of exploitation films feature material that mainstrean cinema would only hint at.
I love the cannibal and Zombie films but dislike Neckromantic and films like that but dont slate those who like tho watch people make love to dead bodies just cos its not for me.
Slmple, if you dont like the material just dont watch it , or if you feel strongly against the film subject matter then please coment on the film, not those who watch it.
We' re all friendly here so there's really no need to alienate a part of the comunity by idiotic name calling.

Name calling and disrespectful posts aren't welcome on this forum Karaman/Kameron. It would be useful if you could remember this.

Yeah, it's a little clich?d these days to refer to fans of extreme cinema as "psychotic"... look at the video nasty shenanigans! lol

Plus it's a forum called 'Shameless'... what would one expect?!?! Ha

Re- the woman hanging in Cannibal Ferox-

It appears to be the only scene of its kind ever filmed, or at least the BBFC have ever seen anyway. I've certainly never seen a similar scene in any other film. Perhaps somebody else has? If the scene had featured full frontal nudity the chances of the BBFC passing it would be virtualy zero. But the scene as it is with only a topless shot should pass.

Yes I agree Angel. The more I think of it the more I believe the BBFC would still cut the infamous opening murder in Don't Go In The House. It features full frontal nudity, a bound woman, and a graphic death scene. Far nastier and more exploitative (even gloating really) than the Cannibal Ferox impalement/hanging.

The opening murder in Don't Go In the House is excellent.

I think the reason the hooks through the breasts thing hasn't been in anything else because 1) They would probably think it was unacceptable and 2) It's a bit unrealistic, I think the hooks would just rip straight through her. I mean I've seen it done for real in some German porn, but she's still standing on the ground.

Call me a person with psychological problems

I don't think the animal killings in Ferox are as bad as Holocaust, or the sexual stuff, I mean mostly in Ferox it's a predator killing it's prey rather than just a human killing an animal.

I mean I had a mouse in the house the other night hidden behind a bookcase so I pulled the bookcase out and let my cat get it and take it outside, it's just what they do.

There's also a rape in Last Cannibal World (the scene is cut in the UK) though I find it a necessary scene for once. Foschi's character is forced to rape Me Me Lai in an animal-style way to subjugate her (thus preventing her from telling the pursuing tribe where they are), as it's the only language she can understand being a cave-girl. I can understand the BBFC cutting the scene (especially as the rape is anal) but it's regrettable nonetheless. In the cut version he simply punches her in the face and in the next scene she's become submissive!
I think that sometimes when they cut a film they can actually make it look worse than what was there in the first place and can make the film editor look a bit stupid as if he/she does not know how to edit a film,so cuts don't help in that respect.

The cat eating the mouse was one of the video cuts to Argento's Inferno, together with the cat being hit against the chair. I'm not sure about the latter but the BBFC could possibly waive the cat/mouse scene for any future release.

Does anybody know what ever happened to Deadbeat at Dawn with the BBFC. ?
I read it was refused a cert a few years back , but was resubmitted not so long ago and seems to have dissapeared.
I just ask outta curiosity as its not a film I cared for. The gang members looked halirrious and the fight scenes were pretty poorly staged, I just wondered where it went .
Its been a while from I saw this but cant figure out why the BBFC refused it a certificate . .....Anyone.?
