Oh no not The Weekend Murders, I sold my copy on eBay not long after watching it. I found it very dull personally.

I would like to see all of these either released by Shameless or Arrow as I haven't seen them and find them quite hard (and expensive) to track down. The Sweet Body of Deborah Eyeball Slaughter Hotel Amuck In the Eye of the Hurricane The Case of the Scorpion's Tail Spasmo Your Vice is a Locked Room And Only I Have The Key Knife of Ice

I would love to see 'The Video Dead' get released on DVD. I used to have a VHS copy of it way back when. That and the 'Maniac Cop Trilogy.' I have the decent region 1 version of the first but would love all three in a box set.

In the Eye of the Hurricane and Amuck are the only ones which haven't been available on legit dvd... These can be found easily and relatively cheap: The Sweet Body of Deborah Slaughter Hotel (several different versions) Spasmo There's a grey market US dvd-r of Amuck available and a grey market US dvd of Knife of Ice. All the others seem to be oop (including the Japanese "Ice of Knife" dvd ). Last edited by bdc; 14th November 2010 at 12:50 PM. |

Some films I'd love to see in the yellow box
Thought I'd join the club and add a few titles I'd love to see in a yellow box. First off would have to be the excellent Night After Night After Night by Lindsay Shonteff. I'm quite a big fan of Shonteff's work and yet, to my knowledge, there is no DVD release of this gem anywhere. Sadly, the UK pre cert was very slightly censored so I've never seen an uncut print of this. It really is a superb little film and features some amazing photography. The scenes along the Thames will always stick with me. Another title I loved from the halcyon days is The Black Panther. Originally put out by Intervision, it's based on the real life kidnapping of Lesley Whittle and the numerous Post Office robbins committed by Donald Neilson. This was pretty big news when I was growing up and mostly took place just down the road from me (incidentally, the film was shot very close too). Again, fantastic little film. Really well acted and shot, it's a must see. I'll sign off with one more. That would be The Bell of Hell. An absolute gem of a film and really very rare and hard to get hold of. I know there is a Region 1 available that I've yet to check out, but apparently this suffers from incorrect framing and some missing footage. This is really a film that deserves the quality treatment. So, anyone agree on these? I could think of plenty more but I don't want to flood the board all at once |

Night After Night After Night does need a dvd release, and a nice Bell From Hell dvd is always welcome. I don't think I have seen The Black Panther though. |
