That's rich .......his adaptations of his own books are cult masterpieces eh....?:ack:

I'm reading his Duma Key at the moment. Described by me as "the work of a pillock with a pen".

Perfect cure for insomnia though and it makes a handy doorstop. http://www.shameless-films.com/forum...ies/tongue.gif

Lol, nice work, chaps! The literary equivalent (by his own admission) of a well-known fast-food chain once described his Maximum Overdrive as another Plan 9 from Outer Space (always an easy exemplar to pick on) to which a critc (in Fangoria, as I recall) responded that Plan 9 was likable, charming and fun, unlike his film.

Something Weird license their movies through Odeon Entertainment for distribution in the UK.

As for future Shameless releases, a DVD of Blood Beach or Dark Night of the Scarecrow would be welcome.

Good to see you on the boards Noss.

Dark Night of the Scarecrow would be a good release, not that keen on Blood Beach. (if its the same film im thinking about)

I know this question was aimed at someone else, but IMO Combat Shock wouldn't have a problem getting through as with the Manhunt 2 case the BBFC were shown that something cannot be banned just for "tone", the improvised drug scene might have to be trimmed though.

Not a fan of the movie myself though, it's too arthouse* and far too grim. The whole movie couldn't be more depressing if it finished with a shot of a burning orphanage.

*An arthouse Troma movie, ha!

A movie with John Saxon and sand worms, what more could you ask for?

Excellent movie...:D...I think it's owned by paramount though...:(
Anything in mind yet Almar?...Been a lot of good suggestions for you to ponder over mate...:)

This has been an awesome thread which I need to properly comment on (so you can hold me to that!) but just been really busy trying to get the next titles ready - still no materials here, huge holes in raw artwork materials, trying to find out about Zavvi and so on but trust me I'll get some thoughts down here soon on what might or might not be possible and what Shameless 2 could possibly be!

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 29th May 2008 07:29 PM

Look forward to hearing them mate......:)
