Blood Beach would be a perfect title for the US distribution company Code Red. If indeed a big company is sitting on the rights to it, then it'll never be released.

Gus Trikonis' THE EVIL would be nice. No sign of a US DVD release anytime soon.

Not to my satisfaction! I would have liked some of those Charles Band Empire films I've been banging on about for a while but now Optimum have them. We have had some interesting approaches though so are working through the viability of them - the most recent yesterday being from Ted V. Mikels.

Not the greatest film in the world and probably only of marginal interest - but I'd love to see a decent release of Psycho From Texas.

Mardi Gras Massacre is another that really should be out on DVD in a decent form. Well...I think so anyway....

I'd like to see a god release of Combat Shock in the UK.

Depressing film but fascinating.

Hey Almar - I was wondering around Optimum and Charlie, as I saw they has Renny Harlin's 'Prison' lined up in a few weeks. Just out of interest, have they got hold of the whole Empire catalogue ? If so, would Mr Band have received anything for that ? or did he sell his chips in Empire loooooong ago ?

I know all his latest releases are out via the dimwitted fools at Film 2000.

This is the sleeve for his latest movie... 'Dangerous Worry Dolls'. The marketing dicks at Film 2000 have decided to rename it to 'Dangerous Chucky Dolls' for the UK market.

Can't even spell Dangerous correctly.

Anyway - attached some cool Empire artwork that shows the glory days when posters used to be made before the movies got made !! Needless to say only Trancers II ever saw the light of day

Snipsmovies! Where have you been? Give us a shout on the e-mail at some point - I want to discuss about indie stores stocking Shameless etc.

Anyway back to Empire I don't know what Optimum have - might cry if I found out!

Well at least optimum are (also) a reputable company.

It would be nice if there were some retrospective extras for the films.

If not there's always Dave's book.

It's been mentioned before but what about The Town that Dreaded Sundown? As far as I know it's never had a DVD release anywhere so it'd be a nice first for the UK, it's only available on vhs from the US.
