That would be a cool Shameless release. It looked like a good film.
The one you like the music off. What was that called.?
rabid dogs or kidnapped - mario bava.

it is an ace film, sort of a bit like Hitch Hike. some great exploitation touches in it.

Rape Squad aka Act of Vengeance (never released on DVD anywhere so far, only VHS).

Silent Night, Bloody Night (not to be confused with the already mentioned Silent Night, Deadly Night. SNBN has only had crappy full frame budget DVD releases so far, but really needs a decent release IMO, great flick).

Rape Squad, previously cut by nearly 5m (sexual violence), is sure to end up with a few cuts here even today.

I checked the blogs herman ( damn there good ) Rabid Dogs, looks excellent from that trailer and the great write up.

I saw 2 M Bava double bill discs yesterday and all had crime artwork but the titles were in Italian, still all 4 films are worth a tenner. Think ill pop down Sat and get em.

How do you recon Combat Shock would fare at the BBFC today Angel.?

Unfortunately I haven't seen Combat Shock, Vipco, although I do try and watch as many films as I can. For the film to be cut by the BBFC it must include very detailed, explicit/lingering scenes of sexual violence which can't be justifiied by its context ( ie the film is just being exploitative). looking at the reviews of the film I can't see any mention of sexual violence, so it should pass without any serious problems. Non sexual violence is no longer cut by the BBFC.

It's quite incredible that the film has never been submitted to the BBFC...22 years on.

How about some of the Harry Novak films? I saw a trailer for The Toybox the other day and it looked insane

Yeah, I've seen that one on the "Axe" SE and you're right. It looks absolutely "Shameless"!

I figured....and it's quite an awesome suggestion IMHO.

BTW: Here's a link to a comparison between the "R-Rated" and "Unrated" version of "Don't Answer The Phone" with lots of pics...The texts are unfortunately in German only.
