Default Joe D'Amato...

((i originally posted this in the Arrow suggestions, but i guess it should go here as well... not really sure where it should be released but IM JUST WAITING FOR MORE RELEASEs OF HIS FILMS!!))

it would be nice to see some releases on Joe D'Amato's work... particularly... Beyond the Darkness 1979, Emanuelle's Revenge 1975(or as i know it 'blood vengeance') or maybe even Anthropophagous: The Beast 1980...
THE UK HAVE HARDLY HAD ANY RELEASE WHAT SO EVER OF HIS FILMS... i don't think Emanuelle's Revenge was ever released on dvd what so ever... not even in Italy... but that film is hilarious!!!... especially with the original dub... i would be grateful if they finally released it on dvd... surely its about time...

Emanuelle's Revenge
was released on dvd in Germany. It's a decent quality,non-anamorphic widescreen and includes the XXX scenes (featuring Brigitte Lahaie) shot for the german theatrical edition as an extra.

You can buy it here

There is a reason that not many D'Amato films are available on DVD in the UK - BBFC rulings.

Optimum UK planned to release this on DVD back in 2008 but they shelved the release after the censors took big chunks out of the other Emanuelle films (even the relatively mild 'Black Emanuelle en Orient' lost 4m 26s).
