It's been mentioned elsewhere on this site that Optimum are apparently planning to issue TAI on DVD sometime in the future but personally i'll believe it when i see it.

After all, wasn't the same label supposedly giving us a selection of vintage Italian war efforts a while back that have to my knowledge so far failed to surface?

I've still got a brand new copy of the old Pegasus U.K. DVD of She which yours truly picked up for £1 from Music Zone way back when.
Sure, this release is just a duplicate of CBS Fox's ancient pre-cert VHS but it's nice to have Avi Nesher's amusing atomic actioner in disc format anyway.

Going back to Ruggero Deodato's schlockfest, i quite like how the title character's cries of agony echo when they die. A peculiar touch no doubt but odd in a good way imo.

Yeah optimum had a load of euro war movies planned but they got cancelled for some reason.

One of them - FROM HELL TO VICTORY, was later released by Pegasus. Not seen the disc but given their track record I wouldn't be suprised if it was a cropped, sourced from VHS, affair.

Easily one of the best action exploitation movies in my opinion, how it has not got a decent DVD release by now is beyond me. Here's hoping either this Optimum rumour is true or Shameless give it a whirl.

Giving this thread a needed bump as started watching the Reb Brown reviews on the Spoony Experiment and for them all they had the Raiders of Atlantis Music.

Everything about ROA is superb and it needs a DVD release.

Any more news on this possibility?

Hopefully now the Cannibal Holocaust release has made a shed load. Figured it was worth another bump of Deodato's other classic.

Any chance now of a release.

Agreed! Have a decent print on the Grindhouse Experience Vol. 2 box set, and I believe Endgame is supposed to arrive sometime soon from Troma here in the States?

Love both flicks, and Italian post-apoc schlock in general! Black Inferno!!

I hope that's true about Endgame. That and AI are way overdue a dvd release.

btw the song Black Inferno is also used in the Serena Grandi film LADY OF THE NIGHT.
