NSM Records' German steelbook edition of Cut And Run is identical to AB release with some scenes in italian (with no subs). It's a violent offender and I would certainly be interested in Blu with the proper audio track.

Avoid the NSM and get the CMV.

Would love to see a Shameless release on blu-ray with an italian track all through...

the "hardest" version, of course.

Never seen this one, but have had it recommended lots of times. A Shameless release would be good.

Why? It was originally all filmed in English

I bought the US Anchor Bay Entertainment release a while back and watched it about a fortnight ago. I can understand why it was cut by the BBFC are some scenes, particularly the opening, are tough going and it makes a fine companion piece with Cannibal Holocaust.

Was it? As far as i know, all Italian b-movies was filmed in muntiple languages as they had actors from many other countries than Italy, the had actors from Spain, France, Germany, Sweden, England, America etc, all actors spoke their lines in their own language, and we cant have a movie where they speak Italian, Spanish, French, German and Swedish with eachother, it has to be 1 language so basically all versions of these movies are dubbed, no matter which language its dubbed in. However i personally prefer these movies to be in Italian with English subtitles(or subtitles in other languages that i speak) even if the Italian versions are dubbed as well, a language is a part of the nationality and therefor i consider Italian as the original language of these movies if i have to pick 1 official language.

While it could be wrong, IMDB says that because of the number of American actors in the movie, it was filmed in English, which was unusual for an Italian production.

Default Cut and Run aka Inferno in diretta (1985)

As far as I'm aware, this hasn't been released on DVD in the UK and is only available on the R1 Anchor Bay, Austrian NSM and German Laser Paradise DVDs.

According to the BBFC website, it was passed uncut for VHS, but I'd quite like to see what Shameless can do with this underappreciated Ruggero Deodato film.
