I don't know if the movie is good or bad, but I always wanted to see it...
The only version available is a German DVD by Arthaus.

Apparently it's an erotic version of Oscar Wilde's classic.

It's a really good film, I have the German DVD but sadly it has no English options and is missing a few scenes that are in the English language version.

I wouldn't say it's an erotic take on the story, homoerotic would be nearer the mark.

It's getting an English language DVD release from Italian company RARO in September, hopefully it will be uncut.
