 female vampire re-release
one film that definitley needs-re-releasing now its no longer available on amazon or any other retail sites is the jesse franco directed "FEMALE VAMPIRE" needs the shameless treatment it does!  |

you can get it from arrow films, it was included in the £2.99 sale they have on at the moment, i picked a copy up,not sure if it's still in the sale though.

The Arrow version was cut by the BBFC. If you want the most complete, albeit still cut, DVD release then get the US release from Image Entertainment. This is certainly a difficult film to see in the 'original version' on DVD as there are so many variants. Strictly speaking though there are three main versions: the softcore edit, the horror edit and the hardcore edit. To make things even more confusing though the softcore edit should feature a brief scene of hardcore; which is absent from the DVD releases of the 'softcore' edit. I know; that is something of a contradiction, but then we are talking about a film from the wild world of Uncle Jess! I would imagine that if the softcore edit was resubmitted to the BBFC it would pass uncut now.
