I'd be made up if this got a DVD release. It's a terrible film mind, but I have an incredible soft spot for it.

Ha ha you don't hear alot of people giving love to this film but I enjoy it as well

I have very fond memories of this film. I remember my parents renting this one Saturday afternoon (I think I was probably about 10) and really enjoying it. :nod: I've always wanted to see it again and would welcome a good quality UK release.

I also like this movie and the Jaws 2 style tag line. Here's the old Media pre cert cover.

It is a great tagline - it's right up there with The Naked Gun 2 1/2's 'If you only see one film this year, you really need to get out more.'

Indeed a great tagline and great cover imo. I actually have a hi-res poster reprint of this design just waiting to be framed!

I only caught BB once when the BBC screened it late one Saturday night around '85 or '86 and i can't really recall much about the movie to be honest. However, if i'm not mistaken BB was something of a big box-office bomb back in it's day which would explain the film's rarity.

Sounds more like a job for Arrow than Shameless to me.:)

Would love to see Shameless or Arrow releases this-although Shameless seem to be sticking to the Euro stuff....

The one bit that has stuck with me - even after all these years - is the scene where the police are searching the area for one of the missing victims and one of the cops in the background holds up a plastic bag with a just single eyeball in it. :lol:

I remember the end quite well, too, but don't want to spoil it for anyone so will keep schtum!

I used to love this fillum! Saw it a few times on the Beeb back in the day. Another classic John Saxon "overly straight-faced" performance.

I was only thinking about it last week. I'd love to see it again.

This is long overdue a DVD release and Shameless or Arrow would be the right people to show this film some love. It may well be a stinker, but I think it's great. :lol:

There's one particular scene, if I recall rightly, that will make all the fellas go 'Ouch!' :eek:
