I think mixing genre's is a great idea. It'd be a good way to introduce people who aern't already into certain sub genres to new ones they might not have come across before. It worked for me with 'Venus in Furs'. Personally I wouldn't have gone out of my way to buy that but because it was part of the Shameless collection I did and ended up really enjoying it. |

Some good choices there, cloud. Spider Labyrinth is one I've always wanted to see. Or how about Lady Frankenstein? It's out there in really crappy ( and incomplete ) versions. The Devil's Wedding Night would be neat too ( can you see the connection here by any chance? ) With US NoShame discs going out of print and selling for ridiculous money on Amazon, diversifying Shameless a bit and releasing some of their titles such as Devil In The Flesh would be an idea. I very much doubt it's possible, but Argento's Door Into Darknesss would be one hell of a coup. Anyway, glad to hear Almar + co are mainly sticking with Italian horror. I'd love to see more obscure Gialli, but any Euro horror is always welcome |

Marino Girolami's 'Roma violenta' aka 'Violent Rome' (1975) starring Maurizio Merli has not had an English friendly DVD release yet. There's English audio for this and English subtitles (admittedly fan made but they could be tweaked for a proper release easily enough) so a dual language release could be possible. It's got pretty much everything in there to be in keeping with the Shameless reputation so far, violence, sleaze, cops in drag beating up thugs... It's also directed by Enzo G. Castellari's father which might be a selling point...
