Formula for a Murder

aka 7 Hyden Park - La casa maledetta

It was mentioned a few years back that Shameless had the rights to this late 80's giallo by Alberto De Martino.

Would you buy it?

bizarre_eye@Cult Labs 15th September 2011 10:26 PM

Yes! Good suggestion, Pete.

A potential Shameless release of any good Giallo is fine by me so mine's an affirmative response. The more stylish Spaghetti slashers out there on U.K. shelves the better.:)

Aside from the full screen Italian DVD, has there been any other dvd releases of this film?

bdc 16th September 2011 12:21 PM

Don't think so...

Btw the old Japanese vhs is widescreen.

The Japanese were really lucky when it came to VHS releases of cult movies.

Has anyone seen the other movie Alberto De Martino and David Warbeck made together, MIAMI GOLEM?

Me too.:)

Nos and I asked Shameless about this. They no longer have the rights as there were no materials available although it is still something they would like to release and so are always on the lookout for materials.

Incidentally, does anyone have any info on the Japanese VHS release? It sounds like they might be the only company who've had access to decent materials so it could be worth Shameless getting in touch with them...
