Default Should Shameless release Umberto Lenzi's "Assault With A Deadly Weapon"?

After Shameless’ release of Almost Human, I’d suggest another Umberto Lenzi poliziotteschi flick: Roma a mano armata (aka Assault With A Deadly Weapon, aka The Tough Ones, aka Brutal Justice), starring Maurizio Merli, Arthur Kennedy, Ivan Rassimov, and Thomas Milian. That's what I call a cast!

This film from 1976 looks pretty neat!

What do you think?

Greetings!

Rome Armed to the Teeth is superb - another winner. It's never been released legally in the UK and has not had a disc release in the US. In fact, Assault with a Deadly Weapon was the title used for the American theatrical and video release which was a shorter version of the film and featured different opening credits.

Your first image is an Italian poster for The Cynic, the Rat and the Fist which, while not as good as Rome Armed to the Teeth and Almost Human, is another great Lenzi poliziotteschi and it also features Merli and Milian.

More Lenzi + Shameless is a perfect combination, so I vote 'Yes'!

I think anyone on these forums would RELISH the prospect of getting their hands on another Lenzi movie, so I doubt this poll will get many no's.

The more Italian cops 'n' criminal capers Shameless can lay their hands on the better so it's a big 'Yes' from me!
