It was posted at AV Maniacs, they've also got Island Of The Fishmen lined up. MYA are fast becoming my new favourite DVD label (after the wonderful Shameless of course ).

It's about time Absurd got an official release, it's a zillion times better than Anthropophagous. It's being released as 'Horrible' and true to its name, here is the cover art:

According to Marc Morris this is not an official release. And Four Flies wasn't legit either.

That's fine as long as MGM don't give a shit about them. I'm sure if they go on to to sell hundreds of thousands of copies that MGM would suddenly become interested... but with niche cult films I am sure they don't give a damn.

I'd rather give my money to fans of the films that have lovingly restored the film from the original prints, than to give my money to a big faceless organisation that has shown it doesn't give a shit about these cult classics that are sat rotting in its vaults.

I agree it blurs the lines of what is 100% legit and bootleg... but as long as I can buy the best version for home use, and support the companies that want us to see these films in the best possible quality, I am a happy fan.

I reckon it's SONY-do they not own MGM now?
MGM in the past have given us hundreds of cult and horror films.....
