These are all out on DVD mate.

Lizard is out via Shriek Show in the US
Eyeball is /was (might be oop now?) out from Marketing Films in Germany
All the Colors is out in the US, again via Shriek Show
Solange is out in a beautiful transfer from 01 Distribution in Italy
Black Belly is out in the US via Blue Underground

All have English options.

EYEBALL is out of print but can be had quite cheap on eBay from time to time.

There's also a rather nice Italian disc of BLACK BELLY OF THE TARANTULA, which is the version I have.

Jesus...

I KNOW that all these are on DVD, problem is most are Region 1 - my DVD player and computer cannot play these, i have all Region 0 NTSC DVDS, which obviously play fine.

I find it frustrating that Fulci's 'Don't Torture a Duckling' is available on Blue Underground Region 0, while his 'A Lizard in Woman's Clothing' is only Region 1, same distributor. Annoying.

On the fact that others are on DVD already - well yeah, but Shameless have released films that are available elsewhere; Manhattan Baby, Who Saw Her Die?, Night Train Murders etc. Given, some may feature less footage or be different transfers, but the fact it they are still out there...

They're different distributors, actually - LIZARD is Shriek Show. None of the Blue Underground titles are region coded - so you can buy the US disc of BLACK BELLY OF THE TARANTULA and play it, so there's no need to get vexed. Both Jonny and I were giving you some *friendly* advice.

A multi region player can be had for less than ?20 so there's no problem as far as 99.9% of DVD buyers are concerned.

Jock Mooney 24th September 2008 11:22 AM

Apologies then. It seems Amazon talk bollocks mostly then, they often don't seem to label the regions correctly then. Regarding buying another DVD player, I spend so much on the DVDs themselves it doesn't really leave much in my wallet

I'll look into Shriek, sounds like the way to go...

Marc Morris 24th September 2008 11:52 AM

Sounds to me like a multi-region player is an essential purchase for you. Don't be tight - go and buy one.

Have you searched for Hacks or multi region codes for your R2 DVD Player.?

Theres a Thread in Shameless Chat with links to code / hack sites.

Zarith 24th September 2008 02:33 PM

I'd like to see all of them in the Shameless collection!

By the way, you have some titles wrong.

Fulci's Una Lucertola Con La Pelle Di Donna English title is A Lizard in a Woman's Skin. Martino's Tuti I Colori Dei Buio is All The Colors of The Dark (or They're Coming to Get You).

As other have mentioned your DVD player is probably already a multi-zone. You just have to find the code.

For your computer, you can use DVD-X or RioDVD. Both are region free.
